 After a search throughout the village by My Abbots for a Carnival Queen, the votes have been counted and we are pleased to announce that the winner is 11-year-old Natalie Braybrooke. All 16 girls that entered received a share of the near 2000 votes we received, with the top three only separated by a handful of ticks. Natalie came out on top and will represent My Abbots at the Carnival on June 14, with her dress being supplied by Hemel Hempstead based business, Froxy Lady. Each girl that entered was featured in the last issue of My Abbots, filling a double page spread with photographs being taken by local snapper Hoss Photography. Although Natalie has come out on top and is likely to receive much attention on one of Abbots Langley’s most important days, all 16 girls who entered are winners and we would like to thank them all for putting themselves forward. Congratulations to all the girls and well done in particular to Natalie – a worthy winner.
