For the fourth year running, Abbots Langley School was awarded first prize in the schools category for the Carnival floats. As a result, My Abbots has received letters and emails concerned that schools within the area will soon turn their back on entering a float if they continue to be overlooked.

Julie Dibble, of Helston Place, leapt to the defence of both Watford General Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital due to the support both offered to her and her family following the two illnesses.

The 26th Annual Abbots Langley Carnival was one of the best attended in its history as people flocked to the village to enjoy the festivities. The event is arguably the biggest in Abbots Langley’s calendar, attracting people from all over South West Hertfordshire.
