As a result, My Abbots has received letters and emails concerned that schools within the area will soon turn their back on entering a float if they continue to be overlooked.

FLIGHT PATH CHANGE THREATENS FUTURE OF FILM STUDIO

ImageThe bosses of the internationally renowned Leavesden Film Studios near Watford say proposed changes to air traffic control flight paths across southern England could have a "catastrophic effect" on their business .They've asked Watford MP, Claire Ward, to raise their concerns with the Government about the plans which are designed to ease aircraft congestion on flights taking off from Heathrow airport.

ABBOTS FAMILY PRAISE WATFORD & HEMEL HOSPITALS

ImageAn Abbots resident has praised two local hospitals for their care and kindness after both her daughter and mother were taken ill. Julie Dibble, of Helston Place, leapt to the defence of both Watford General Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital due to the support both offered to her and her family following the two illnesses.
