On Thursday 4th June, Watford football club had announced after numerous rumours that Manager Brendan Rodgers was set to leave the club and become the manager of fellow championship side Reading after just 192 days in charge at the Vic.
Lloydinho Wins The Very First Players Player Award

The first ever Players Player Award at last weeks Watford FC End of Season Awards, held at Shendish Manor, was won by arguably the most popular man in the current squad, Lloyd Doyley. The My Watford News sponsored award was handed out for the first time, with players asked to vote for their player of the season based on consistent performance on and off the pitch, team player qualities, enthusiasm and passion for the game, connection with the supporters and good sportsmanship.
Watfords successful victory at Doncaster on Saturday was not all positive. Brendan Rodgers was forced into making all three of his substitutes due to injuries. The first of the injuries unfortunately fell to Scotsman Don Cowie after he headed in his third goal since joining Watford.
WATFORD FC has announced their season ticket prices for 2009/10 – with the Hornets taking the decision to reduce the current pricing structure by between 16-20%.
